Countdown Timer by Beagle Software is an absolutely free utility that was developed for setting countdown alarms right on the user’s desktop. The program has a very simple and easy-to-use interface. For setting an alarm you should create a new event. The alarm can be set in three ways: you can define the precise time for alarm, set the required interval of time for countdown or start the stop watch. Time expiring is performed by a special beep sound. Also you can enable the warning feature. It means that the application will warn you on the defined period of time before the countdown ending. On the program’s main window you can see the current and remaining time. You can customize the clock view by hiding or showing hours, minutes, days and seconds. The developers have provided their product with a small help file where you can find some information about its main features. The program has very low system requirements and doesn’t need a lot of space on your hard drive. Countdown is the only function of Countdown Timer, so this program seems to have a serious lack of functionality. |
